You can delete your Clear-Budget account and all of its data yourself, in the Clear-Budget app or on
clear-budget.com. It happens straight away and can't be undone.
In the Clear-Budget app
- Open the app and tap Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password, or type DELETE if you sign in with Google, and confirm.
On the website
- Sign in at clear-budget.com.
- Open Settings and choose Delete Account.
- Enter your password, or type DELETE if you sign in with Google, and confirm.
Can't sign in?
Email support@clear-budget.com
from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll delete it within 30 days and
write back when it's done.
What's deleted
- Your account: name, email address, password and profile picture.
- All your budgets, with their bills, paychecks and notes.
- Your buckets and their payments.
- Your newsletter subscription, liked articles, and any password reset, email change or sign-in records.
What's kept
Nothing that identifies you. We keep only site visit counts that don't name anyone. Anything the app
saved on your phone is removed when you delete the account in the app, or when you uninstall it.
